Well, that dream was suddenly crumpled for me by a cheating ex-fiancee. All the things we don’t control about life and don’t even know it–finding that my dream-bride was not to be trusted was a slap to the face to be sure, but a slap that finally woke me up to the sad state of my understanding of women and romance. All in a moment, I learned that no one person on this planet ever, ever, ever can control another, or absolutely count on another. No, not absolutely.
