Lesson Description:

Continuing the development in your Lat Sao programs, Sifu Fernandez now looks at the variations of applying your fighting techniques from various angles. In other words, we look at the dangers of offline attacks and how to deal with them.

We look at the possibility of working against stronger opponents and in particular how to use the Wing Chun footwork to work around your opponent and more importantly how to deviate his power.

Another important point in developing the Chinese Lat Sao is how to use your feet and body in unison in order to create very powerful attacks. Also helping you to understand the difference of developing the attitude of ‘counter attacking’ as a means to having a powerful defense…

In the final lessons of the Chinese Lat Saos, Sifu Fernandez now teaches you how to mix and combine your reflexes, Looking at spontaneous attacks, and how to deal with differing angles and pressure from your opponent.

Fundamentally we ensure that even though we are now increasing obstacles and variations, we remain faithful to the Wing Chun fighting methodology always staying true in keeping it direct and as simple as possible.

More importantly these lessons also teach you how to develop your initial Chi Sao reflexes when under attack.

These lessons are designed to make your fighting ability more complete, and staying true to the Wing Chun philosophy making it very direct and effective. This is most useful for people learning the ropes of effective self-defense.

Overall the Chinese Lat Sao teaches you how to deal with close range and long range attacks from various angles applied similarly to styles such as boxing and kickboxing.
